ADP parameter files
An .ADP parameters file is absolutely necessary for the data processing. This file has a similar function with the %param%.cig files in the old ADHOC DOS software.
This ADP parameters file has a copy which is an ADQ suffix file. If the ADP file is corrupted, the ADQ file replace it automatically. This avoids to loose the parameters file in case of disk or computer program.
The parameters of the ADP file can be changed by the user with the ADHOCw function A01.
The ADP parameter files contain the following informations :

Identification is a free ASCII text written by the user to recognize his observation.
Dimension of the cubes have no limitations. Z is usually the lambda dimension, which is often the number of channels.
Extraction corner is a user information which keeps track of a possible further extraction from a larger cube (all positions are numbered from 1).
Spectral information allows 2 modes : the Perot-Fabry mode and the Spectrography mode.
In the Perot-Fabry mode, you give the interference order of the interferometer relative to a given wavelength (which is completely disconnected from the "line" wavelengths or the "scanning" wavelengths). You must also give the line and scanning wavelengths for both calibration and object. When the user press the button "Update values", the interfringe values in Angstroems and in km/s are automatically computed. The wavelength of channel 1 is the reference wavelength for the de-phased cubes. This last parameter can be changed until the phase map computation.
In the Spectrography mode, the only useful parameters, which must be given by the user, are the length of the spectrum (in Angstroems) and the wavelength of the first spectral element. When the user press on the button "Update values", the length of the spectrum in km/s is computed.
Velocities are necessary to compute the correct radial velocities maps. The mean velocity of the objects allows the program to compute at every pixel the best interference order (avoids modulo) and the heliocentric radial velocity correction is relative to the date of he observation and the position of the object. This last value can be computed in the menu A of the program.
The image scale is useful for complex functions as dynamics. It can be changed at any time and many functions don't use this value, which can be let to 1. at the beginning.
